To deburr and sharpen edges.

For optimal glide on your snowboard or skis, lightly deburr the edges for 5 cm north and south of the contact points (4 contact points). Use a rubber or ceramic sharpening stone. Start at the edges where they curve up towards the tail and tip, and lightly deburr for about 5 cm from a flat surface, in both directions, for a total of 10 cm.
