K2 ALMANAC 2027 SNOWBOARD

Description

Description
The K2 Almanac is an all-mountain snowboard engineered for riders who want a single board capable of handling every terrain the resort throws at them. Rooted in K2's Volume Shift™ philosophy, it's sized down 4–10 cm from your usual length, making it a surprisingly nimble and confidence-inspiring daily driver for intermediate to advanced snowboarders.

Available in lengths from 137 to 161 cm, the Almanac runs a directional Volume Shift™ shape with a combination camber profile — camber underfoot for precision and pop, with raised contact points in the tip and tail for a forgiving, fluid edge-to-edge transition. The construction layers a fast Sintered 4000 base with a triblended BAP core (bamboo, aspen, and paulownia), a biaxial fiberglass weave for torsional flex, a tip-to-tail Carbon Backbone™ for ollie snap, and Hybritech™ sidewall construction to keep swing weight low. An extra set of front binding inserts lets you shift your stance back for added float on powder days. Flex rating is 5/10.

Who It's For
The Almanac suits intermediate to advanced riders who want one board for groomers, moguls, side hits, and the occasional powder stash. The Volume Shift™ outline makes it feel shorter and more playful than the length suggests, without sacrificing drive or edge hold at speed. If you're tired of choosing between a dedicated powder board and an all-mountain carver, this is your answer.

FAQ
How much should I size down with the Almanac? K2 recommends going 4–10 cm shorter than your usual snowboard length due to the wider Volume Shift™ outline — for example, a 158 cm rider should look at the 153 cm.
Can the Almanac handle deep powder days? Yes — the directional shape, setback insert option, and Volume Shift™ width provide solid float in fresh snow, though it's primarily designed as an all-mountain board rather than a dedicated powder board.
